Beirut Fashion Week is a non-profit and non-political organization (NGO), officially recognized as being devoted to the assistance of those in need.
Beirut Fashion Week is one of the biggest international events not only in Lebanon, rather in the Arab-World and the entire Middle-East. Beirut is now recognized as the fifth             fashion-city after New-York, London, Milan and Paris. The Organization target to raise worldwide the name of Beirut City and stimulate tourism and culture in Lebanon.
It is important for every designer to realize that the main focus is the collection they present, rather than the venue or country. We do not blame the Lebanese designers who were forced to travel abroad to present their collections, because there was no professional platform in Lebanon, but today we are able to cater to them in Beirut, with the launch of the official Beirut Fashion Week and the huge presence and impact of the political and diplomatic figures, celebrities, VIPs, national and international media. The Lebanese designers must reconsider their decision, to trust their mother-land and be proud to present their collection in Lebanon.

The expectations are very high, especially that Beirut Fashion Week is under the patronage of Prime Minister H.E. Saad Hariri and Minister of Tourism H.E. Avedis Guidanian and Governor of Beirut H.E. Ziad Chbib. The expectations are very high and proud, when we see these great names cooperating and supporting this event.                 The Organization have high hopes that the event will be one of the biggest and most prestigious fashion and jewelry shows and exhibitions in Lebanon and the region and shortly worldwide. It is important to note that the Beirut Fashion Week Organization is based on a board member consisting of 15 national and international people, each of whom comes from a different background, brought together by their great knowledge of the world of fashion.

Beirut Fashion Week targets are simple yet far-reaching. We aim to provide means for the famous and established designers to inspire and empower the young upcoming designers, to reveal, encourage and support hidden talents by awarding educations and creating job opportunities in Lebanon and awarding scholarships in Europe, in turn, aiding the development of the Lebanese fashion industry. Last but not least, Beirut Fashion Week Organization’s ultimate goal is to alleviate the lives of the less fortunate persons who are suffering from extreme poverty.
